governance of our country is an awesome responsibility. Every adult
Jamaican should exercise that right.
To register to vote, first check the map to see if you live in the South East St Andrew Constituency. Then, check if you’re on the voter’s list by visiting the EOJ website or by calling the free helpline at 1-888-991-VOTE (8683).
If you live in the constituency but you're not yet on the Voter's List, visit the Electoral Office of Jamaica’s South East St Andrew Constituency office at 11 ½ Swallowfield Road, Kingston 5, or call 920-6404. Carry with you some form of government issued identification such as a driver’s licence or a passport.
At the constituency office, you will be asked to complete a records form with your name, address and other information, and then to have your fingerprints and photograph taken.
Some time after your visit to the EOJ Constituency office, an official from the EOJ will visit your residence to verify that you live there. Once you are verified, you will be placed on the voter’s list.
Your voter ID should be ready within two to three months. You can collect it at the EOJ Constituency office.
