MP Robinson visits summer camps in his constituency
Member of Parliament Julian Robinson visited the Teens for Technology summer camp at the National Children's Home in Hope Gardens and a number of summer camps in his constituency.
Over 1,000 students from seven communities across South East St. Andrew have been attending a series of two-week Summer Reading Camps hosted by Member of Parliament Julian Robinson and supervised by a team comprised of volunteers from the National Youth Service, as well as trained teachers.
Participants came from the communities of Swallowfield, Nannyville, Woodford Park, McGregor, Slipe Road, Jacques Road and Vineyard Town, and camps are targeted to four categories of students: 4 to 6 year old pre-primary children; 7 to 9 year olds preparing for the Grade 4 Literacy and Numeracy Exams; 10 to 12 year olds preparing for GSAT; and high school students aged 12 to 16. All students were assessed at the start of the programme, which aims at improving basic skills in critical reading skills, and will be assessed at the end to track progress.

MP Robinson host career fair
In collaboration with the HEART Trust NTA, MP Julian Robinson hosted a career fair for members of his constituency at the Sir Howard Cooke Centre for Career Development. Participants were offered career guidance and coaching and had opportunities to try out various different skills and disciplines.

Member of Parliament, Julian Robinson hosted a consultation on the use of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in his constituency. Robinson presented the projects and monies expended for the financial year 2011/12 and sought feedback and suggestions from his constituents about how the CDF should be spent for the new financial year.

In collaboration with the University of Technology's Dept of Oral Health Sciences and the Brush up Jamaica team, MP Julian Robinson hosted a dental health fair and fun day for children in South East St. Andrew.

Labour Day 2012 in South East St. Andrew
Residents and volunteers in South East St Andrew came out on Labour Day, May 23, 2012 to do well-needed improvement work and general sprucing up. Member of Parliament Julian J. MP Julian Robinson toured the annual Expo of the Jamaica Manufacturing Association and the Jamaica Exporters Association held at the National Arena. He expressed his delight at the high quality of the products on display.
