New Kingston Development Plans
The National Environment and Planning Agency in its pursuit to establish a new Development Order for the parishes of Kingston and St Andrew has developed a proposal to effect changes in the land usage for New Kingston. Please find attached digital copies of the New Kingston existing and proposed land use maps for comment. The Trafalgar Council in conjunction with the New Kingston Citizens Association are requesting that a consultation meeting be held with stakeholders and NEPA and as such whenever the meeting date and venue are finalized you will be advised accordingly. I would urge that careful perusal of the maps be undertaken as the proposal has the potential to have a medium to long term impact on property values.

Distribution of water tanks to three basic schools in South East St. Andrew on Friday, April 23, 2010
Three water tanks were delivered to the Destow Bennett Basic School on Langston Road; Bob Allen Basic School in Swallowfield and the Roosevelt Basic School on Herb McKinley Drive.
These schools have been adversely affected by the prolonged drought which has disrupted classes.
